Today July 6, 2021 Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Energy Stephen Byabato visited the PURA pavilion at the 45th International Trade Fair (Sabasaba) taking place at the Sabasaba grounds.

Deputy Minister Byabato applauded PURA for participating in the exhibition and explained that it is a great opportunity for the Authority to raise awareness among Tanzanians and various stakeholders on the issues of petroleum upstream activities.

He also commended PURA for its great work in regulating upstream operations in the country. At this exhibition, PURA is located at booth number 127 in the Karume hall.

At the pavilion, PURA experts provide insight into various issues including ongoing oil exploration activities in the country, exploration license status, local content opportunities available in the upstream operations and many more.
