Executives from the Ministry of Energy and its institutions, along with participants, have visited the PURA pavilion at the 48th International Trade Fair (Sabasaba) taking place at Mwalimu Nyerere Grounds, Kilwa Road, Dar es Salaam.

Some of these leaders include the Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Dr. James Mataragio, the Commissioner for Electricity and Renewable Energy, Eng. Innocent Luoga, and the Commissioner for Petroleum and Gas, Mr. Goodluck Shirima.

At the pavilion, experts are providing awareness on various issues related to upstream petroleum activities, including the upcoming fifth licensing round for open blocks for oil and natural gas exploration.

Other topics include the participation of Tanzanians in the activities of exploration, development, and production of oil and natural gas, as well as the various opportunities available in these activities.

This year's Sabasaba exhibition is led by the theme "Tanzania, the Right Place for Business and Investment."
